Haze & Reflectance meter

The HR-100 is designed to measure total light transmittance, diffuse light transmittance, and haze. It is ideally suited to make these measurements for transmissive materials such as plastics, films, glass, and liquids, as well as light reflective materials with a high degree of surface gloss such as metals, coating and mirrors.

The HR-100 conforms to many national and international haze standards, including:

  • IS0 14782 Determination of haze for transparent materials
  • IS0 13468-1 Determination of the total luminous transmittance of transparent materials
  • ASTM D1003 Haze and Luminous Transmittance of Transparent Plastics (D1003 is approximated)


  • Measuring the total luminous transmittance and haze of plastics, glass, film and liquid
  • Measuring the total reflectance and diffuse reflectance of plated surface and mirror
